There is always work to be done at camp, even when there aren’t campers on site. These days are situated in the calendar to prepare the camp for the upcoming season. We invite you to come and work with us to make M.C.S.C. ready for what God wants to do in the lives of those visiting the camp. To show our appreciation, lunch is provided. The Spring and Fall work days begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.
Senior Adult Celebration
Twice a year, M.C.S.C. invites senior adults to come to camp and enjoy a day planned especially for them. This day includes a special time of worship and prayer. Coffee, snacks, and lunch are provided.
Celebrate the beginning and end of summer at camp with your entire family! Bring your own accommodations or stay in a cabin. Enjoy the pool and play a round or two of Frisbee Golf. A program is planned for each weekend as well as two “all-camp” meals in the Dining Hall.
There are a limited number of RV hook-ups with electric throughout the camp and water at various sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, and firewood are available. Tent sites are also available throughout the campgrounds with nearby restroom and shower facilities. A total of ten cabin units are available for families, containing a bathroom and bunk beds (no linens are provided). No cooking is allowed inside the cabin units. The Lodges are also available for families.
Ice Cream Social
Come join us for this annual event! The Ice Cream Social begins with LOTS of delicious, cold, refreshing ice cream for all ages and ends with an evening program.
The Golf Benefit at Juday Creek Golf Course in Granger, IN is a fund-raising event for Michiana Christian Service Camp. The cost is $65 per person. Fees include 18 holes of golf, cart and green fees, door prizes, dinner, and prizes to the top two teams of each flight. This fun event is open to men and women of all ages.
Ladies’ Night Out
This evening is designed for women to get away with God and one another at camp. Workshops and worship times revolve around a relevant theme for today’s busy women; both married and single, moms and grandmoms. Each Ladies Night Out is hosted by a supporting church and held at the camp. There is one in the Spring and in the Fall.
Every fall we welcome our high school campers back to camp for this High School Retreat. A great weekend of refueling and reuniting. The cost for the weekend of November 4-6, 2016 , is $55 if registered by October 24, 2016 and $65 if registered after October 24, 2016. Deans: Wally Lowman and High School Discipleship Leadership
